                              A small business start-up was looking for an affordable, workable information management approach.  Needs included e-mail, web hosting, documents management, contacts, calendars, customer relationship management, telecommunications and office software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and drawings.

                              Costs estimates for purchasing equipment and the professional services to set up and maintain the typical technology was beyond  their budget.  At the time we began working with them they were renting space and equipment from another small  company at a significant monthly expense and did not feel they were getting a good deal.

                              We worked with them to define their needs and proposed a solution that leveraged on-line services available via “the Cloud”.  Most of their needs are now met via on-line applications.  This resulted in a cost reduction of over 90 percent in office phone costs alone.  Information is securely available to employees or clients.  And it  can be securely accessed from any computer with an Internet connection, as well as from their  smart phones.  Hardware needs were just  smart phones, laptops, printers, and an Internet connection, eliminating the need for dedicated servers, costly technical support and special software.
